Your waffle iron is a rare piece. Although Wagner made double waffle irons, and they re considered rare, this quadruple waffle iron is scarcer still, especially in this condition. It was probably made for hotel use. Since I am unable to examine this item in person, it is assumed for the purpose of this appraisal to be a circa 1892 Wagner Ware waffle iron, cast iron, quadruple design, 14 inches by 22 inches, patented July 1892, with one repaired handle and no other flaws whatsoever. The values provided below are based on these assumptions and on recent sales of comparable items. |
